Overall, 2022 was a challenging year for the Crypto ecosystem. The combined M-cap declined from $2.275 trillion on January 1st, 2022, to $811 billion(as of 29th December), a decline of 64%. Traditional asset class including the Stock market (Nasdaq Composite was down 35.49% YTD) were also not spared from this downtrend
However, the future optimism of crypto didn’t get paled away anyhow. With continued developments and innovation within the ecosystem, it still emerges as one of the leading financial segments around the world.
